Assess school’s readiness to engage in School Development. Consider:

• Do we have a shared vision and values?
• Do we have a learning culture? 
• Does staff have knowledge of the determinants for effective schools? 
• Do we have a shared understanding of the purpose of school development and the process it follows?
• Do we have clarity around the School Development process?
