STANDARD 6:



Educators identify and plan mathematical professional learning goals using the Newfoundland and Labrador Standards of Practice for Mathematics Teaching (NLSPMT) and a variety of professional resources. They participate in professional learning to enhance mathematical knowledge and pedagogical practice. Educators participate in professional learning communities and apply constructive feedback from colleagues to improve professional knowledge and practice.

STANDARD 7:



Educators follow the standards of conduct and code of ethics as expected of a professional educator. They engage in professional inquiry so as to inform, understand, and speak to current issues in mathematics. Educators demonstrate and promote positive attitudes towards mathematics to influence systemic and societal changes in perspectives.
