4-6 Activities and Resources

The lessons for K-6 were developed in a spirit of commemorating Confederation through a celebration of all our peoples. The intention in developing the following lessons was to be responsive and developmentally appropriate for K-6 students so as to explore bigger ideas and themes versus specific historical content related to Confederation. All lesson ideas, discussion points, and questions to consider may be adjusted to fit the classroom setting. There will be additional lessons and activities added to this page over time, so please check back for future updates.
